One of the most popular tracks from Joanne Lazzaro's "live" 2015 album "Under The Stars", Amazing Grace-Trail of Tears combines the well-known melody with her own improvised counter-melody "Trail of Tears". Recorded in the historic 100-inch telescope dome at the Mount Wilson Observatory, the track you hear is exactly what was recorded that night - no editing or studio effects (other than noise removal). The Woodsounds (Brent Haines) double Native American flute in F#, combined with the dramatic echo, reverb and other acoustical phenomena in the observatory dome, create the effect of an entire choir of Native American flutes.
